Hi All,
Can anyone please guide me how do I add grouping in Dynamics 365 FnO Grid control similar to the grouping available in Work Breakdown structure form (ProjWorkBreakdownStructureV2 form). I have done some digging in the ProjWorkBreakdownStructureV2 form. and it does seems it is using a temp table ProjHierarchyTemp as data source. What I want to know is how the grouping part in the D365 Grid control actually works? Hope my question was clear.

That form is very special. Standard D365 grid does not support grouping, however, in PU31 you can activate new grid as per documentation https://docs.microsoft.com/ru-ru/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/get-started/whats-new-platform-update-31#turn-on-the-new-preview-grid-control-through-feature-management that supports grouping without any development
Thanks a lot for the answer Ievgen. What I understood from your reply is there is no out of box way as of now to create the grouping in grids. So is there any other alternative way to add grouping in grids?
No one stops you from enabling new grid and using it, have you actually tried ?

I am kind of new in D365 FnO. What I understood from your answer is we need at least PU31. and PU31 is suppose to be released on Jan 2020. So how do I get it now? Can you please give me a hint?
