Hi,

I have NAV 2016 server with SQL 2012 Standard database both are install in window 2012 Standard server in same Hardware . now i am install Dynamics NAV Development environment install in my laptop for form and other development. Now can you guide me how can i connect my NAV Server database server from my laptop in the NAV development enviroment .i try to open Dynamic development environment in my laptop then open file menu -> select -> database -> click on open after in new dialog box Show .
when i enter server ip/server name /instance but i can not find the server name or database over their.

kindly guide me how can i connect my laptop development environment (192.168.1.5) to nav server (192.168.1.2) database to my .
