CRM 2013 on-premise to Dynamics 365 online migration

I want to migrate my solution and data from Dynamics CRM 2013 On-premise instance to Dynamics 365 online . Is there any established approach?Multiple hops via 2015,2016  is suggested in https://technet.microsoft.com/en-in/library/hh699673.aspx .However, the article https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg328109.aspx#BKMK_VersionCompatibilty indicates that direct portability from 2013 to D365 is available. Latter would be preferred if it is supported.  Is it possible to export my CRM 2013 solution and import it directly on Dynamics 365 online with minor fixes to be applied later?

RE: CRM 2013 on-premise to Dynamics 365 online migration

    Hello,

There are different options how to migrate to Dynamcis 365 Online, Microsoft is have a offer that they call 'Fast Track' but there are requirements of customer size.

Some are using integration tools like Scribe Insight, BizTalk, BizTalk, Migration Tool etc.

Which approach is best, it depends on what needs to be migrated, some of data or all data.

We are offering a fixed price migration to Dynamics 365 that includes all data as default, you still have option to exclude some entities if wanted.
Our migration usually takes 1 week to complete, depending of the size of database.

    Hi,

Have you considered using a managed service for this process?  Synchronicity Echo uses a standardised approached to data migration.

    Thanks

I need to do a direct migration from 2013 to D365 online. Look like solution Rajkumar Rajaraman provide was the correct solution but the link is on longer valid. Can post the correct link for this solution?

    Thanks,

    Ronald

    Hello Chaitra,

Tenfold just recently added MS office 365 to their integrations list. Tenfold offers features such as click to dial, automatic call logging, easy note taking and task creation, screen pops on inbound and outbound calls, new lead/contact creation when no matching records, support for cases/opportunities and advanced analytics on the backend. They also support MS Dynamics integration. www.tenfold.com/.../dynamics
