Can I run MRP on a batch with a group of filtered items only? Rather than all demand? for example I have a FG, and multiple items related to the FG. Want to exclude any items, etc that do NOT apply to my FG.

I need to set up a MRP batch to run once every 24 hours. I have a FG. Under that FG I have several WIP items as well as RM. however there are multiple items NOT associated with my FG. Can I set up a item group? or something to capture or filter only those items related to my FG in a specific Batch job?

I suggest you to run the MRP but not in a batch mode.

Then run it with the same exact filters/criteria after deleting the plan.

The result should be the same.

If you are running planning optimization you can use plan filters (set up on the Master plan form on the Acionpane) to run MRP.

Use joins to add table joins to your filter options.
