Hi,

Is there any way where we can show dialogs based on different forms in an entity i.e. for ex if in contact there are 2 forms c1 and c2, then c1 should show d1 and c2 should show d2. Any help is appreciated

Thanks,

Tejas

    Hi,

You can use javascript to invoke the dialog. Before that you can check which form it is and open the correct dialog. Refer to the link given below on how to open a dialog by javascript.

If you are looking to run different dialog based on the Form, then there is not direct way to bind your dialog with form but you cam easily implement this, for example you only create multiple form when there are two type of record or may there are different set of fields, so in your dialog you could check that particular field which is different in the form and show different pages based on the condition.

Let me know if I did not understand your question correctly.

    Hi Tejas,

No...Because it is playing by record ID not Form

But, I suggest you can create new custom ribbon that will open the dialog

    ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/.../140652-create-a-dialog-short-cut-ribbon-button

Unless, you can do like you have the Form Type field stored in the entity then use that field to show hide the page response, quite tedious, I suggest you create new dialogs for the forms.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.
