I am not able to connect to Dynamics 365 trial instance using Plugin registration tool or for the matter of fact, not able to connect to the D365 trial instance using any tool available in latest D365 SDKs. Plugin registration is asking for credentials and when entered, it doesn’t do anything and connection window simply disappears. I had made sure that user account have CRM sysadmin role, in fact in this case user is an Office 365 admin too.
Note: this is only happening with 30 days latest Dynamics 365 trial version only, I have other online CRM instances and am able to connect to them through same plugin registration tool using my company login id.
I have enabled Fiddler and found below error in logs:
HTTP/1.1 200 Connection Established
FiddlerGateway: Direct
StartTime: 12:56:45.183
Connection: close
fiddler.network.https> HTTPS handshake to xxxxxxxx.api.crm.dynamics.com (for #86) failed. System.IO.IOException Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. < An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

After getting the latest version of PRT from Nuget and deleting stored credentials from Control Panel -> Credential Manager -> Plugin Registration Default, I am able to connect to Plugin registration tool.
Thanks for your response Rawish, just before posting the issue here, I did tried with latest PRT also (available on nuget), but still getting the same error. Are you able to connect to D365 trial instance using PRT.
FYI: this trial instance is hosted in North America region.
This is known issue - effecting almost everyone lately.
Download and install the latest tool and try:
