Filtering a lookup on a form by multiple columns

On my Account form, I have a Contact lookup that I would like to filter by multiple different columns.

Our we have a type of accounts that are related to different parent organizations which also exist as accounts. I would like my contact lookup to filter to the contacts on the account as well as the contacts on Organization A and Organization B, which are look ups on that account.

To help visualize this -
Account 1 which has Organization A and B attached to it, has contacts:
Bob 1
Bob 2

Organization A has:
Bob 3
Bob 4

Organization B has:
Bob 5

I would like the contact lookup field on Account 1 to filter the selectable contacts to show all 5 of these.

If for some reason I could only display the contacts from the two Organization accounts, I could work with that as well.

    Hi,

We have analyzed your requirements and you may need to apply a custom filter to a lookup field using the /addCustomFilter/ method. This method allows you to define FetchXML queries to filter lookup fields based on multiple criteria.

Please refer to the blog at the following link
