Cycle count plans

Hi all,

I hope you are keeping well during these crazy times. Right; so I'm having some trouble with Cycle count plans in D365. I have set up a plan for a Zone within the warehouse; however when I run the plan, work is ONLY being generated for the first location as opposed to the 100s of locations that are in Zone 1.

I do want to mention that:

  • All locations have the correct location profile ID (which has cycle counting enabled)
  • The cycle count plan has been setup as per the following screenshots below.

Any help/insight around this would be helpful :)

Did you try to set the "maximum number of cycle counts" to more than 1, as it is in screen shot?

Hi. Change that Maximum number of cycle counts to as many CC work headers you want to allow this plan to create at once.

    Hi Jiwan,

Yes, you are right. 0 logic does not work for all forms :-) So Sunil indeed as Jiwan mentioned, update the threshold to a proper value. This will solve the earlier behavior.

    Hi Alice, Sunil.

Maybe the system will not let you update max number as 0, you should specify proper threshold.

    Hi Sunil,

This is due to the maximum number of cycle count value of 1. If you update this to 0, work will be created for all locations within zone 1.
