Was this company used before and deleted?
Please take a look at your virtual companies. If you have setup the globall address book to be shared in multiple companies, there might be an reference of that company attached to a virtual company.
The globall address book table is shared, but out of the box the addresses are stored per company in AX2009. So when creating the customer, and address book record is inserted and the addresses are copied to the other companies of your virtual company as well.
