Credit card pinpad for use with RMS 2.0

Has anyone used ID Tech Sign & pay model IDFA-3153-1M, with RMS POS? I am getting conflicting stories. I was sold this equipment by a partner, they couldn't get it to work. I went to a second partner and they say it is not meant for RMS.

    I have always used the Verifone 1000SE serial model.   The verifones are recommended by certified for RMS by microsoft.

    I never get client calling with problems about the 1000SE pinpad because they just stay working after being hooked up.

    Thank you, hopefully this will save someone else from buying $1k in credit card equipment that is useless.

    Not used that version but, we are currently building a new environment utilising the Verifone VX820 PED with contact less and Apple Pay which all seems to be working very nicely so far.

    I'd use Verifone every time.

    Not sure if I am allowed to post  this but i'll try. If anyone can use these machines I'll give them a smokin deal. They are supposedly programed for mercury payments.
