
All of a sudden I'm seeing this error pop up from time to time in the system jobs:
"A work order can't be created for this record. The revision number on the booking date and booking setup don't match."
Is there a way to:
A) fix the revision numbers so that the work order is created?
B) figure out how they got out of sync in the first place?

Hi Dave,
You are getting this error during Auto generate of Work Order or manual creation ?
This usually happens when the Revision number on the Agreement Booking setup and Agreement Booking Date doesn't match OR if the Agreement Booking Date record is in inactive state.
You can also check System Jobs related to Auto Generation of work order and confirm the current status of that detailed error.
Also you can validate yourself if they match or not -
1. Open the Main form of Agreement Booking Setup in Form Editor :
2. Drag “Revision” field from “Field Explorer” and drop it under “Work Order Settings” > Save and Publish.
-Do the same for Agreement Booking Date.
Please compare “Revision” number field of “Agreement booking setup” with “Agreement Booking date” record.
If it doesn't match, then this error is expected.
As a fix you can manually update it the revision number for the affected ones. In order to figure out how they exactly got out of sync, I would recommend you to raise a Support ticket as there are multiple components involved and will be difficult pin-point in this way.
