Hi All,

I just need your help to know the difference between general journal, Payment Journal ,Item Journal, Purchase Journal , Sales Journal.

I want to know the difference between each of these .

Kindly anyone help me to know this .

    Payment Journal for paying vendors

    Purchase Journal rarely used accept for initial AP load but can be used for entering vendor invoices

    Sales Journal rarely used accept for initial AR load but can be used for entering customer invoices

    General Journal is used for accounting entries

    Cash Receipts Journals can be used for customer payments.
