Hello,
Can someone point me where I can find the steps to download a successful AX 7 VM? I have not seen it in LCS as an option of the versions I could deploy in Azure.

You'll find VHD files to download in the shared asset library in LCS.
By the way, please try to use more descriptive titles than just "AX7 VM".
In asset library where we can get VM ?
On the tab called "Downloadable VHD":
just follow this steps

Are you sure that you looking at the *shared* library? I think you're in an asset library for an individual project.
Hi All,
Were you able to find solution ? We are having same challenge.
You will get the vm VHD on LCS but after getting VHD it will give such more issues like password expire automatically in login.
Either VM will shut down automatically or password automatically disable admin account.
There is no such support available from MS d365.
If anyone having support contact details of MS d365 team Pls share with us

To my experience the password doesn't really expire even though it warns about it.
About the shutdown, please check the validity of the Windows license on the VM. If it's expired, it will shut down in about an hour.
You can rearm the trial license on the VM 3 times with running following command in the command prompt:
slmgr -rearm
