Total Balance on Payment Journal

Hi,

We are on the latest version of BC 22.1

On the Payment Journal there are Balance and Total Balance fields that show $0.

Should there be values? Is there an easy way to see the total amount of payment, short of extracting the data to Excel and summing it there?

I have the same question (0)

The balance will populate once you select the Applies-to Doc. Type. This will be the total of the Amount line that you have entered.

Need to remove the Bal. Account No. because It shows the total balance of  single entries.

Hi you can try the Reconcile Feature of business central.  May be this will solve your query.
Fields you mentioned is used when you entering the payment entry in 2 different lines. 1 line of account Type(ex. vendor) 2. line account type(ex. G/L, Bank) Balancing A/c in different lines with same document no.
