Management Reporter value incorrect for one account

We have a column that looks at the Period BASE-10 and another that is BASE.  The tree looks at 4 companies.  For one company, for ONE account, the amounts are different, even though that account only has 1 entry for the year (Beg Balance).  All the other accounts in the same transaction are correct.  The other accounts within the row group also only have Beg balances and are correct.

We do not use Data Mart.

I have reconciled the year in GP.

I have used a different report using same column with same results.

I have created a new column with same results.

How do we correct just one account's balance in MR?

    I would strongly suggest opening a support case with Microsoft - this sounds like a BUG.  If it is indeed a bug, then Microsoft will get it fixed and credit back the support incident.

    It's a beginning balance entry and it's only in the GL20000.

    One other thought occurred to me. From time to time, Dynamics GP will not cleanly remove the Open Record when a process moves the Open Record to a History table.  In this case we're talking about the GL20000 and GL30000 tables respectively.  I would suggest querying these tables to see if you have the same record in both tables.

    You can run the File Maintenance Check Links against your financial tables.  This should be done when you have exclusive access to the system, and after you have a good backup.  You may have to run reconcile again, after running this process, especially if any errors are corrected by the process.

    Yes I did that and that's how I knew it was only one account.  Since it's a beginning balance it won't drill down any further.  THere are NO transactions for this account other than a BB.

    I would suggest changing the Detail Level in the drop down to Financial, Account and Transaction so you can drill down into your odd number and see what makes it up, as this might be enlightening.
