Hi Community,
May I ask what is the difference between a normal Chart of Accounts and an intercompany Chart of Accounts?
Is there some COA that only intercompany has?
May I know which are they, please kindly list them out to me.
Thank you!
Hi Josh,
Please check page 20 of this document: Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 (navision-demo.de)
And here you can find also more information: Set Up Intercompany Transaction Posting - Dynamics NAV App | Microsoft Docs
Hope it helps.
Hi, just adding to Maria's reply.
IC Chart of Accounts:
Specifies how you want your company's chart of accounts to correspond to the charts of accounts of your partners.
When an intercompany partner sends you an intercompany transaction, they use account numbers from the intercompany chart of accounts. You use the IC Chart of Accounts window to specify how you want the program to translate the intercompany chart of accounts to your own chart of accounts.
Each line in the window contains information about one account in the intercompany chart of accounts, for example the account's number and name, as well as the number of the G/L account in your chart of accounts that the intercompany account maps to.
