Fixed Asset amount not appearing in Activity Report

Hi everyone,

One of our clients recently had a switch in personnel. The new accountant was entering the new fixed assets into the system, and ran the Activity report. The items appear in the report, but their amount does not. We are not sure if there is another step that she needs to take or if the accountant before her did something differently.

Does anyone know if there is a step that we are missing?

    Which specific Activity report are you referring to?  I just tested the Detail Activity report and as soon as the Asset General and Book records are created, you should see the amounts show up for the cost and clearing.

    I think you may have already answered the question just by asking that. I went and checked and she had not yet created the Book record for the asset.

    Okay, so I went and spoke with her. She did put information in the book record but the items are supposed to be set to fully deprecated so there is no depreciation rate. She wants to be able to have a report that shows the items full amount and that they are completely depreciated. But the items aren't showing up if they don't depreciate.

    Have you tried pulling the data from Smartlist or SQL? Just to ensure there is data?

    I did this once when a report kept coming up blank.
