Project financial dimensions not inherited by PO firmed up through Master Planning

Item demands linked to the Project (created through Project management and accounting module) are captured by Master planning. However, firming up the planned PO to full-fledged PO, the financial dimensions of the PO does not inherit the FD of the Project to which it was linked. Is there a way for the PO to inherit the FD of the Project without customization?

Thanks.

When a Project Contract is created, the system automatically creates a funding source – because a project always needs funding.

To define the dimensions go to the contract and the  funding sources tab. Click the Details button and then open the Financial Dimensions tab..
