Hello,

I have PDK installed on the server and on other client system. But anytime we want to post timesheet from PDK it gives this error 'A get/change operation on table UPR_MSTR_TAX_INF failed accessing SQL data'. If i click on more on the dialog bos that the display the error it show this message'Number of result columns dosent match the table definition'. But if we post the timesheet from dynamics GP 2010 we wont get this error.

I need help on how to fix this issue urgently.

Thank you and God bless

    Hello Funmilayo,

First, which build are you on? This kind of error usually means the table in your system does not match the Dynamics table definition. Perhaps the post process of the PDK accessing this table, but the post from within GP does not. I do not have the tools to look right now.

To find out which column (field) is missing - take a look at the table in SQL and compare it to the table in Dynamics Resources.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

Hi I had the same error when I was trying to do client update.  I setup the client update for GP 2010 SP2 on the server.  When I started up GP 2010 sp1 on a client machine and log in, it gave me the error "A get/change operation on table 'SY_Company_MSTR' failed accessing SQL data.'  When I clicked more info, it says "Number of results columns doesnt match table definition."  Please help

I compared our SY_COMPANY_MSTR (SY01500) to GP 2010 SDK.  We have all the columns up to DEX_ROW_ID and we are missing those columns after DEX_ROW_ID like CURNCYID,MACHINE_ID,PRNCODE,....

    Please help.

I just happened to have that same error, in my case, my server was updated from another station to GP R2 and the remaining clients were using a previous version, we solve that by installing the latest R2 client on all the other computers and the error went away,

Does it mean that I can't use automatic client update for GP2010 SP2?

I personally dont use automatic updates, for some strange reason on the different environments users have tried they fail, and I have removed the record on SYUPDATE and run the installs on their computers.

But Im not sure if this will not allow you tu use automatic updates.
