It sounds like you added entries in 'Procurement and sourcing\Setup\Forms\Form notes', but did you remember to adjust the parameters to set report visibility in 'Procurement and sourcing\Setup\Forms\Form setup'?

In the dialog that appears you need to select 'Request for quotation' in the navigation pane. Once there, you probably are going to want to set "Include document on sheets" to  "All" and "Include documents of type" to "Note".

    Hi Frazier,

Thanks for your reply. I made setup in Form setup also. but , it is not getting printed. As per your suggestion, Should i need to map the Notes in the Document handling?..

For purchase order report, I have created form notes and made setup in the Form setup also. PO notes are printed without any issues. But, i could not able to find RFQ notes in the RFQ report.  Can u pls clarify my doubt.

    Abila,

We ran into the similar issue with RFQ report and what we figured out is that the out of the box RFQ report does not have fields or placeholders on the report design to print notes. We had to customize it in order to get it working.

    Thanks.

    Kartik,

I think you are correct. I have worked with a number of reports in sales and I see the additional notes field very frequently. I just checked the base RFQ design (AX 2012 R3) and the field wasn't there.

@Abila: The report design is probably going to need to be modified, but your development team needs to look at the report data provider first to make sure that the correct field is in the dataset and that it is being populated correctly.
