I want to add a simple field to the TimesheetEntryPage.aspx page and run into all kinds of problems
Ax build 9.0.47.61. I probably overlook something easy, but don't know what so any help is much appreciated. Here is what i did.
1 ) In VS2010 i created a new Ax EP WebApplication project and added it to the AOT
2) Added \Web\Web Files\Web Controls\TSTimesheetEntryPage to the project.
3) Build the solution ( so no changed yet )
Now i get compiler errors:
Error 1 The type or namespace name 'Portal' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft.Dynamics' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
Error 2 The type or namespace name 'EPFormAction' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
I can resolve both errors by adding the EPApplicationProxies and the TSTimesheetProxies to the project by right clinking on my project select Add Ep Proxy project.
However, no the compiler starts to complain about duplicate types because both afore mentioned contain some overlap. Sounds like a catch 22 to me. Does anybody know what i am supposed to do?
And isn't adding the EPApplicationProxies a bit weird? Feels like adding all of Ax when i just want to add a simple field.
