I set up a goal for a user, I am the Goal Manager. Record set for Rollup is All. Rollup query has one condition, a Custom User Lookup field = Current user.
Entity = Opportunity
I do not want to rollup records that are owned by the Goal Owner but based on a rollup query.
When the user selects Recalculate, the actuals do not generate values for the user. If I change the Manager to equal the Goal Owner, then recalculate, the actuals and the participating records match but I do not want the user to also be the Goal Manager.
I did a test as follows: 1.I set Goal Owner and Manager as different roles for the test.
2. This is a custom lookup field = current user.
3. The entity is set to the Opportunity entity with the following field conditions. After testing I found that the customer users field only calculates the value if it is the same as Manager. If you use the /Equals current user/ condition, you can only display the calculated value if it equals manager. If you create a goal, the goal record is shared with the goal owner and he gains read and append access to the goal. Those are the only two permissions the goal owner has.The goal manager has recalculation authority. This is my personal understanding, and I hope it will help you.
