Migrate from D365fo to BC

Hi,

We have one customer is using D365F&O (Finance, Purchase, Sales, Inventory) and the customer needs to move to Business central, my question is there any tool or option to migrate the following:

1- Master Data

2- Historical Data

3- Open transactions 

4- Customizations done on top of D365F&O

Please suggest if any work around also.

    Hi ahmed.kimo ,

    I don't believe there is a tool available. Bridge to cloud brings the data in from external sources to BC or F&O, of you wish to leave, it wouldn't too difficult to export the data and bring in via config pack/api.

    • I would bring in master data
    • Avoid historical (without using an extension for example https://redi.business/redi-history/ 
    • Bring in open documents
    • Review/do a deep dive over if you need the customisations.

    Further, I would involve Microsoft Support with this activity to see if there is a PS engagement they can offer to assist with the move.

    Hi, For data, because there is no tool, you have to reorganize the data, and then use Configuration Package to import BC.

    For the customization that has been completed in FO, because the development language is different, you must redevelop it into an extension of BC.
