Empty company list for new user

I have added a new user to our Dynamics GP database and I have given them a Class ID that is used successfully by some existing users.

When they log on there are no entries in the company drop down list, and if the user clicks OK anyway they get the message "A get/change operation on table 'SY-Source_Document_MSTR' cannot find the table." How do I get the companies to appear in the list? It's still working fine for other users.

I'm new to supporting Dynamics GP, so I'm hoping this is an easy question for someone with more experience. I couldn't find any reference to this issue on the troubleshooting and support site.

    Thanks GoFast. That's exactly what I needed to know.

    I added the user with a "User Setup" link in the Quick Links. If I had looked through the menus for "Tools > Setup > System > User" then I would have seen "Tools > Setup > System > User Access" and might have tried it.

    You need to add the user to a company. Setup > System > User Access Select the user in the list on the left and check the companies you want the user to access on the right.
