POS - Products section always showing all the product categories

Hi,

We have 4 stores with different product categories, under one "Commerce product hierarchy" category hierarchy. In the channel assortment, specific category is selected only, but in the MPOS's product section is showing all the categories (Whatever is in the category hierarchy, but it should show only selected category which I mentioned on the assortment.

Is there any addition setup needed?

I think you need to be using a 'Channel Navigation hierarchy' associated to your channels and then used within the Assortments.

Could you please confirm if you are referring 1 OR 2 ? Option 1 is driven by Channel Navigation hierarchy. You will need to maintain different navigation hierarchies and configure them on "Channel categories and product attributes". If it is option 2, make sure that there are no overlapping assortments where someone might have added products/categories/channels to the wrong assortment. If you have made any recent changes to assortments and cleared all overlaps, run "Process assortment" job and run FULL SYNC of 1040 so that you have freshest copy of the data.

It worked fine after added the products in both assortment's category hierarchy and navigation hierarchy.
