Import Inventory movement in ax2012

HI,

I want to know the purpose of importing inventory movement lines from excel in ax2012 ?

    Hi,

    One of the most obvious reasons could be if you want to track inventory movement information where transactions are performed in in some legacy system and financial posting are intended to be performed in AX2012, then interface(through DIXF or some custom class) is created and integration with that system is established(as suggested by Crispin).
