  • RE: How we manage partial/multiple deliveries from One Sales Order

How we do it, is before we transfer the sales order to invoice we change qty to invoice to that delivery, and just invoice that qty, not the whole order, that way we can still go into the order so we can make another partial invoice.

    Hope this helps.

There could be a number of reasons for this. Did you check whether the Order moved to history in the Sales Documents Inquiry window? (Inquiry->Sales->Sales Documents) Check if it appears under Unposted or Historical. If it is the latter, then zoom to the Order and check for reasons why it unexpectedly went to history, such as Qty to Invoice already equal to Qty Ordered or the remaining Qty was cancelled.

If it is unposted, then it may be just a simple case of the Sales Entry window filtering out the Order, especially if you use the lookup button. Try to close and reopen the Sales Entry window to clear the fields and lookup the Order again.
