Item Org Creation Navigation: Setup and Maintenance > Manage Item Organization
Now we are going to create an Item Organization
For creating an Item Organization we should select the particular Implementation Project and Type the keyword ‘%item%org%’ and select the Manage Item Organization and select the go to task button highlighted in the image: To create a new Item Organization, select the create ‘+’ button.

If we are not selecting the Management Business Unit then the Item organization will be common org for all the Inv Org under any business unit.
If we select the Management Business Unit then we cannot assign the item to inventory organization under different Business unit.
If we want to Restrict the item organization of the particular business unit, then we should mention the Management Business Unit. Example, if we assign inventory organization to US Business Unit then, we cannot assign the items to inventory organization under UK Business unit.
