Expand Options (DEVQST)

Hi Guys

Is there a way we can expand options ??

As example T5050 - Contact has an field 5050 "Type". This field has in the basic version of NAV two options "Company" & "Person".

So can i somehow make a PageExtension to add just one option?

I somehow can't find any information for this.

    You can use enum and enumextension , please see below links :

    Hmm, i don't really get it. Can you do a small example with expanding an Option?? a bit code would be great. As far as i understand is that this doesn't work because the "Type" field is an option field and not an enum field. and i cannot modify this field because it is a bc standard field.

    For standard field they are planning to release it with enum , but not sure what are the fields will be and when  .

    but if you are creating extensions for new table you can use enum instead of using Option fields.

    If you are using on-premise, you can change  standard  field to enum and from there extend it using extension. for saas i think you need to wait until they have released it.
