Good day,

 License= Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0

 I have several problematic users which may me learn how to us GP because they use it for all the wrong ways " let's manipulate the system"

 Ok so for example we have several customer id's create but they are subdivided by id class: So is there a way so GP when the customer of the id class is CONTADO then the name of the customer field is visible but when the customer of the id class is CLIENTESPS then the name of the customer field is false (not visible)

Because i checked out the configuration of the other fields that when you input the customer id it becomes false (not visible)

    There is a third party product by Dynamics Genie that will allow certain users to see only certain customers.....check them out.

    Good day Ian,

    I apologize i meant greyed in. I can make it disappear if i just move the field out of the window box.

    But my main goal is to make it editable when the it depends on the customer class ID, but looks like that option isn't optional yet.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Mayra,

    There is no way in standard GP to acheive this:

    'Make the Customer Name visible / invisible based on the custoer class ID'

    When you say Not Visible...do you mean that the customer name is completely invisible...or just greyed out  - and so visible but not changeable?

    (Just wondering what you mean, because the behaviour you describe in your last sentence is one of Greying Ot...rather than making the text invisible).

    Best regards,
