ssrs report taking time to print

Posted on by 53
Hi,

We are using check report with slight modification. The report opens up in PDF quickly, however, the same report takes time to print from pinter.

Has anyone face this issue? What should we do to resolve this ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

    1. Change the RDP base class from SRSReportDataProviderBase to SRSReportDataProviderPreProcessTempDB.
    2. Update the table type from InMemory to TempDB.
    3. Rebuild the report's RDP class.
    4. Restore the data source that is linked to the RDP class in the report designer.
    5. Redeploy the report.
    6. Introduce a Controller class to run the report.
    7. Update the Output Menu Item so that it points to the Controller class instead of the report.

    Hi m,
Can you elaborate more about the SSRS report?
Have you tested to print from pdf and direct printing from SSRS report?

    Hi,
This can be due to a lot of reasons. You can check your report settings for complex expressions or other unnecessary elements. Or maybe it's due to network or server performance issues, you can check the network connection or server resource allocation. These can cause the report to print slowly.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
