When a user clicks 'COPY TO STATIC' on a dynamic marketing list and then clicks 'SAVE' a static copy of the marketing list is created and given a name with the following format:
OriginalNameOfMarketingListM/DD/YYY H:MM:SS PM
For example:
Newsletter August 20188/23/2018 3:33:11 PM
Where is naming format for this process stored in dynamics and can it be modified?

You can try to register a plug-in on PreCreate of the Marketing List end edit the name within the execution context. There you can format the DateTime as a string and set it the way you'd like.

Hi Radu, thanks for this. I took a look and this did allow me to change how date (and other data formats) are presented to me in the system which was very useful.
Unfortunately It didn't have any effect on the name generated when a static Marketing List is created from a dynamic one so I'll do some more digging.
I think this might be related either to the System Formats or the User Formats. If you to customize the Date Time settings from your Personal Options or from the System Settings do you see any changes in the behavior ?
