    Hi ShubhAX,

By default, the coding, provided by Ievgen, will display all dimensions which are setup per legal entity. Do you have more dimensions setup and now needs to use only three? Can you explain why you want to differentiate from standard behavior? I can imagine you would prevent wrong data in dimensions for certain processes, but please explain your scenario as it then would be easier to provide an optimal solution.

Hello sir, actually i have assigned with demo project for training purpose, as i m new to ax, the project stated as ...Add the dimensions field to parameter form.

The fields are Cost center, department and purpose. If i follow few blogs and other sources i found no optimal solution to customize the dimensions according to requirements.  If i follow what levgen provided then it will show all the dimension.

Later in the requirement i have to add those three fields for record insertion in another custom form.

    Hi ievgen,

Can we add Financial dimension as a field in custom table where i have to enter the dimension against each record. In my case, I have to enter new fleet id where i need to enter dimension cost center, department and purpose.

Yes, it is possible but one dimensions does not make too much sense, usually you have all available default or ledger dimensions on the form. So just believe either you misunderstood your task or person who asked you to do this does not understand AX.

    Hi ShubhAX,

make sure you could trace other code that transfer default dimension from parameter/reference table to transaction table
