CC field of tracked email gets filled automatically

One of our customers has the following experience:

A user sends an email to a contact and puts another user on CC. The user on CC than tracked this email and set the regarding object to the contact. When the email now was tracked in CRM about 90 contacts were automatically added to CC.

Does anyone has an explanation for this behavior?

    Based on the description of your issue, it should be a bug. You would better raise a ticket to consult Microsoft Support.
