We are trying to implement Field Service and I keep receiving the error, "You may not complete a backordered or instransit document."
Everything that I am using on the Field Service order is non-inventoried, so there is nothing that should be backordered or instransit.
Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem which I traced to a parts item that was stuck on table SVC00203. It had a SRVSTAT of 20 which I'm guessing is either backordered or intransit. I adjusted it back to 10 and behold we could complete and close/invoice the Service call. Hope this helps...

I have an answer after speaking directly with Microsoft. In the Field Service module, you have to setup a different Call Status for each category. See below.
