    RE: BOM Calculation error

It may be the routes of phantom items. System does some calculation while adding phantom items route to its parent.

I suspect that you should check routes of all phantom items as those are active and approved.

Secondly also check the value present in 'Run time' field of each operations. Make sure that no operation has run time value equal to Zero. If any operation in any route has value equal to zero in run time, then such types of warning appears.

To validate the removal of this error, just run a item cost for parent item. If it ran or able to calculate cost then we are through.

    Best of luck.

Please post the feedback after you try this.

I presume if you remove the routes from the phantom item it works - what are those routes giving you bearing in mind it is exploding - you only seem to have 10 and 20?

    RE: BOM Calculation error

It definitely relates to phantom items that are used o produce the item.

Rout number with operation 80 does not really exist.

It calculates it automatically in BOMCalcTrans.updateReNumberOprNum when it extends phantom items. The error message also comes from the method above.

But I do not have a clue what is going on during this calculation when it's preparing mapOprNum and then it actually verifies Next number.

Does somebody knows the business logic behind this code or a possible place where something went wrong?

    RE: BOM Calculation error

    Strange, but no.

    It contains same operations

    10 - 20

    20 - 0

Vasily, please also check the route for the second version in your screen shot. Does that contain an operation 80?

    RE: BOM Calculation error

Operation 10 has Next field 20

Operation 20 has Next field 0

You can see that on screenshot

    RE: BOM Calculation error

Look at operation 10 and 20 and check the field next (in the line).

You will see that for both lines the value is not 0.

So there is no end-operation for AX (there should always be at least one operation with the value of 0 in the field next).
