Item movement to final inbound location via warehousing app

Hi all,

looking for some hints from you ;)

My following scenario:

I have 2 Items with the same item number but with a different batch id. Only the two are on the license plate.

Item Number

Batch ID

Pcs

Location

License-Plate

target Location

target License-Plate

RP1234567

9999999

EX1

AXY1

EX2

AXY2

RP1234567

1111111

EX1

AXY1

EX2

AXY2

Now i want to move these two items to a different license plate at a different location. Currently i need to confirm each of the Item batches via the WHS App.

My question, is it possible to move the items without confirming each batch id? This means i want to scan the item number, scan the target license plate and then confirm the movement for both items.

Thx in advance.

    Hi Taric,

Presumably you are doing a movement (as opposed to receiving put-away) using a Mobile Device Menu Item with work type = Movement.

Unfortunately, even if you are looking to move the quantity=2 of the same item (with different batch numbers), the system will still ask you to identify which batches you want to move.  By changing the LP, you are changing two different inventory dimensions strings.  If you were to do this using an inventory transfer journal, you would have two different lines with from-to dimensions.

I can't see a way around this without development.  May be another forum participant has a different idea.
