Workflow Opportunity to new Task

Posted on by 550

Hi everyone,

I'm a new user of CRM and I think, my question is solved easy, but not yet for me.

I wanna set an automatic workflow and should do the following:

When a new opportunity is created, a new task should be created - including the follow-up as the date of the task.

I asked Google, but unfortunately I didn't get any answer.

Can someone please help me?

Best regards

Mick

    My steps were right.

It was a "Workflow in the background"

So I was impatient too often.

I tried realtime and it worked immediately.

In Dynamics CRM you can do this by using workflow.

Create a Workflow on Opportunity entity that runs on create of an opportunity.

In the workflow add a step to create a Task. Also set the due date for the task.

You may want to also assign the task to a user.

    Hope this helps.
