Recent Activities (& Recent Cases) sub-grid in Case form

In the OOB 2013 Cases form there is a sub-grid for Recent Activities, however when I edit the form it does not appear tthat there is a way to remove it-- which is what I would like to do since it is redundant with the Activity Wall.

Not sure if this will help

Did you remember to Publish the Case form after you save it.

There's nothing to publish. The sub-grids already exist in the live form. When I go to edit the form to remove them, they are not there.

If you go to the Case form look for the Tabs Control Field this is where the Activities is at.

If you Remove it or hide it make sure you publish the Case Form when you are done. You can not delete it but you Remove it from the form.

To remove recent cases from the case form you need to customize Account card quick view form. Recent case sub grid is part of Account card quick view form. Once you remove recent cases sub grid from this quick view form save and publish it.

Thanks for the reply Chitra. I don't see that section on my account card form. This system was upgraded from 2011. Might it be 'hiding' somewhere?

    Hi Joe,

Try to create new a QuickView Form for Account and Contact.

Then, you modify the QuickView Form of Customer field (Account/Contact) at the Case Form Editor, change to your new Account card and Contact card.

    Thanks.

Turns out it was in the contact card. I got confused because it was pulling from the Customer field which I thought was an Account. But thanks all for leading me in the right direction.

Thank you so much. Its 3:22am and I've been battling with this for the past 3.5 hours. They basically hid a form that's part of the Case in an Account entity :(
