Location Code for Services

It appears that you can only enter a location for an inventory item.  Will this be available for services in the future?

    Hi,

How do you plan to use "Location" for items of type Service?

    Thanks

    Hi SLee_800,

While I have no idea whether or not Microsoft will address this in a future update, I would suggest creating a dimension (call the dimension something other than LOCATION; that is a reserved word), and create dimension values consistent with your inventory Locations.

You can then use them in transactions involving services (dimension values can be used at the header level, or could be unique for each line as well).

    I hope this helps!
