MicrososftDynamicsAIF60 IIS services stops automatically

Hi,

MicrososftDynamicsAIF60 IIS services stops automatically.

Below is the Event Log:

There was an error during processing of the managed application service auto-start for configuration path: 'MACHINE/WEBROOT/APPHOST/Default Web Site/MicrosoftDynamicsAXAif60'. The error message returned is: 'An initialization error occurred while trying to preload an application.

Exception: System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException

Message: Duplicate type with name 'Dynamics.Ax.Application.MZK_InvestmentPayoutContract' in assembly 'Dynamics.Ax.Application, Version=6.2.1000.1437, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

But i cant activate the Inbound Ports and Full CIL aslo done without any error.

    Hi Sathish C,

    Thats a well-known issue and you can easily find steps to resolve it, for example community.dynamics.com/.../duplicate-type-with-name-dynamics-ax-application-in-assembly-dynamics-ax-application-2012-r2

    Thanks for the Reply.

    I followed the same step. After that If i do deactivate and activate any services again AIF service gets stops.

    I done following steps:

    1. Stop AOS service.

    2. Delete all files on the AOS server under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics  AX\60\Server\<aos instance name>\bin\XppIL.

    3. Connect to the model db via SQL Management studio

       TRUNCATE TABLE SYSXPPASSEMBLY

    4. Start  AOS instance

    5. Run Full CIL.

    6. Reset IIS.

    But still AIF services not starting. same Error log in event viewer.

    I have uninstalled web service and RE-installed again., then AIF Service starts successfully.

    If i create new service(inbound port) or deactivate and activating existing service, again AIF service stops and same error log in event viewer.

    Satish, we faced the same issue and the problem were old cache dll in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\AifWebServices\Bin\Work
    FIX: uninstall AIF => DELETE THE AifWebServices FOLDER => Reinstall AIF
