Where is my workflow ?

Good day,

My sandbox has been upgraded to the unified interface.  I have made some verification this morning and it seems that it is missing sum feature.

1- Workflow are not available on my form as before, so I can't manually execute a workflow

2- Close X button is not there on the form.  Where do I close it ?

3 - Form Edit is not there - where do I edit my form ?

4- When adding a custom note, the Save and Close is not working.

It may not be the place to ask question about this but I can't find anyplace else.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    1.

Please check "Flow" drop down in the ribbon you will see your classic Workflows listed in that drop down.

    2.

In 2020 Release Wave 1 we re-introduce 'Save' and 'Save and Close' buttons, Close alone is not available.

It's already available for preview as part of the Early Access (here's own to enable it: docs.microsoft.com/.../opt-in-early-access-updates)

    3.

This encourage editing forms on Default Solution which is anti-best practice for ALM.

You can edit forms in Advanced Setting or in new https://Maker.PowerApps.com

    4.

Need to know more here. Might need a support ticket to triage this.

In future suggest breaking out the questions as you discover them.

    Hope this helps!

RE: Where is my workflow ?

    Hello Nancy,

    1. You might not see your on-demand workflows because you haven't enabled to display the "Run Flow" button in the Unified Interface.
In order to enable it, navigate to your environment settings and make sure "Show Power Automate on forms and in the site map" is  turned on.
To get to that setting: open the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) > Environment (select your instance) > Settings > Product (expand that option) > Behavior
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/system-settings-dialog-box-customization-tab

    2. Close X button: it is no longer in the Unified Interface as user can either hit "Back" in their browser or go back to the view the user was on.
As part of the 2020 Release Wave 1, Microsoft has introduced back the "Save & Close" button. That might also help with your requirement:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2020wave1/microsoft-powerapps/save-always-visible-command-bar-edit-forms
You can enable the Early Access for your environment by following these steps: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/opt-in-early-access-updates

    3. Forms can be edited in the context of your solution.
    This is documented here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/create-design-forms
You can either customize your forms from the legacy experience (due to disappear) from your Advanced Settings > Customize the system
Or I advise that you instead use the model experience offered at https://make.powerapps.com/  (Navigate to Solutions, if needed create a new one to bundle together your customizations, add your entities and forms and customize them.

    4. What do you mean, adding a custom note?

Feel free to open a Support Request in case of issues, here: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support

    Henry
