Hello,

Trying to post an invoice from a PO and receiving this error: Insufficient inventory transactions with status Received.

Anyone have an ideas as to what throws this error?  I've been hitting numerous dead ends.

Thanks.

    Hi Brian,

What type of order is this?  Intercompany, direct shipment, etc?

You have of course posted the packings slip for this PO first (aka received)?

This usually happens when a record in inventTrans is not in a current state.  Review the items on the PO and look at their transactions to see what values they have.

    Hi Kent,

This is an order we shipped from our Warehouse.  (We received in stock, then shipped out to customer.

Yes, the packing slips (there are two) have been posted.

Thanks for your reply.  I'll investigate and respond back.

Kent, What do you mean by "current state"?

On the transaction screen for the items on the PO, make sure that the PO in question has a receipt status of "Received"

Also what are you posting the invoice against?  Packing slip or all?

The PO in question has a receipt status of "Received".

We try to post against the packing slip and all, neither work.

This PO in question has two packing slips associated with it.  Could the problem lie somewhere in there?

Is there a dlv remainder on the PO lines still?  In the posting screen, check the Lines tab to see if it matches the order and the packing slips.

This is rather difficult to troubleshoot without seeing the order!  This error can be a result from numerous errors.  There are other posts around here that you could also reference for more ideas.

please look at the registration form , either you have not done the registration properly.

    at item level.

    inventory button --> registration.

How can one tell if registration was not done properly?  Is there anything I can look for?

There doesn't seem to be anything different.

We decided to consult with MS.  MS verified that is was a known bug and they provided us with Hot Fix # 4.  This solved the issue.
