Permissions for assigning security roles

Hello,

I want to create a security role, which give the User the permission to assign security roles to a user.

I gave the security role every possible permission for Business Management --> Security Roles.

Has someone an idea what I also Need?

When I try to assign a security role I get an Error and the log says that I Need a permission out auf the security role I want to add. However, even if I have the permission I get the same error.

    The CRM UI does not show every permission that is within CRM, so it is best to create your security role by copying an existing security role (in this case, probably the role to which you want to be able to add other users), and then adjusting the permissions.

    Are you using Crm OnPremise or Online ? If using OnPremise, then you can enable tracing to determine what specific privilege is missing

    Hello Amber.

    Please keep in mind, that your user can only ASSIGN those SecRoles to other users he is assigned to.

    For example:

    User A has SecRoles 1, SecRole 2, SecRole 4 and SecRole 5... He has the permission to assign SecRoles to other users, but is NOT a system administrator. So he can ONLY assign SecRoles 1, 2, 4 and 5 to other users.

    Only the System Administrator has the permission to add all SecRoles.
