Problem with upgrading D365 to 10.0.40 /Cloud Hosted Env (Tier-1) Dev env/

Hi,
I am trying to update my sandbox dev environment, but it keeps failing. I choose the latest Service Update 10.0.40 to update.
The Log file is empty.
 
In the main view I only have this error message:
Error running script. RemoteMachine: 'https://xxxxx/' Username: 'xxxxx'. [5]:Connecting to remote server xxx.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com failed with the following error message : Access is denied. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic.

Can anyone suggest something? This is the first time I have had such a case.

    Hi, did you change the Admin account on the environment, or does it still match the details in LCS?
     
    If it is not that, my usual checklist would be:
     
    Check admin account is still default in LCS
    Check diskspace
    Check everything closed, e.g. visual studio
    Restart box and retry
    Rotate SSL Certificate
    Make sure custom code on the box is in a build state - if not, build models and then restart (no sync needed)
    Finally the sledgehammer approach - provision a replacement

    Hello,
     
    In addition to what Anthony mentioned, you could try a manual update on the VM itself. So downloading the package, unzipping it. Importing the runbook and executing the update.
