i added a new user to BP and set this user up just like every other requisition user. The problem is when she logs into BP and clicks on the Purchasing Tab, The Requisition Tab is missing on the left-hamnd side. What should I check to correct this issue? She can do everythng else. She is actually a requisition admin, she can approve requisitions just not enter new ones. this is GP 10 and BP.

    I am not quite optimistic that my post would be of any added value since I have never came to see this before at all.

    I would have few questions though, in case the "purchasing tab" is not accessible, how is she being able to approve requisitions? Do you indicate that the "purchasing tab" is there and it just "disappears" as she clicks on it, or it is not there at all ?

    What I am quite sure about is that the issue would be more related to SharePoint rather than Business Portal since SP manages the sites and pages on which Business Portal operates. Being assigned to requisition approver  means that she has the appropriate MBF role, though, might have issues with her SharePoint access.

    I might do further testing based on your answers, hoping that I would be able to provide any considerable help.

    Here is a really odd clue. When you first goes to the BP Home Page, all the tabs are there across the top, including Purchasing. When she clicks on Purchasing half of the tabs dissapear. I would agree with you that it appears someone has been adjusting her access via Sharepoint. Is there a way to completely remove her domain account from both Sharepoint and BP and completely start over?

    I have been searching and testing this hoping to figure out what's the reason behind having one of the tabs "disappear" but all in vain !

    Although, Since we are almost into outweigh the cause of SharePoint access over Business Portal MBF role, then deleting the user access from SP including all site collections is worth trying, Here is two methods for deleting the user account;

    1. Using the "deleteuser" operation. Here is the reference at SharePoint technet
    2. Another method that I came across is a "PowerShell Script" that is developed to delete "bulk users", it is worth trying

    Otherwise, you could delete the user account from the SP Interface either from the site setting (you need to go site by site) or the Central Administration.

    In addition, I would suggest removing the MBF role in parallel as well, and re-enter the account from scratch starting with Business Portal then SharePoint. Here is a reference for Business Portal (if needed)

    Hope this helps !
