How does Letter, Fax and Campaign response Activity work in dynamics 365?

Yeah, they are all working on Dynamics CRM Online yet. But letter didn't work for Dynamics CRM 9.x on premise.

One thing to take note is Letter and Fax are not being shown in the new record menu for the Timeline control in Dynamics 365 and no option to display customised card form.

Microsoft has never announced or indicated the deprecation of the Letter and Fax activities.

I believe the limited support of Letter and Fax in the new timeline control might be because of how the organisation are using less of those activities in this day and age.

It is quite manual and just for information reference only. Someone would scan the letter/incoming fax and attach it as a Note to the activity, populate the Sender/Recipient, Date/Time and the summary of the content in the description.
