I have installed Visual Studio 2017 and intend to create SSRS report but I can't seem to figure out the right tools for this requirement.

What I currently have:

MS CRM 2016 (on-premise)

MS SQL Server Reporting Tool

----

Visual Studio 2017 / 2019

Windows 10 64 bit

yes but when I have to set-up the data source I can't seem to see the "CRM Fetch" among the choices. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Please help as I am new to this. Thank you.

I already installed this but still I can't seem to find the "Microsoft Dynamics CRM Fetch" on the choices.

You have to install Microsoft SSDT tools. Below link may be helpful to you:
