I would like to stop Events being Published without having an associated "Event Product"

Hi,

I would like to modify the "Event - Publish" process in order to prevent Events being published without an Event Product being added first. See event.png.

When I try and add a new step into the process, see process.png, I have no option in the "Specify Condition" to do this.

Any ideas how I would do this?

Thanks for your time,

Ollie

    Hi Oliver,

When working with 1:N (one to many), workflows created on the parent entity won't have access to the children (at least not through the designer, the child entity won't be listed),

hench subgrid cannot be detected by workflow.

You could instead create a new Rollup field with Count aggregation to calculate all related event products to your event form, then replace your check conditon to "when this field is lower than 1".

Or create a custom workflow activity.

    Regards,

    Clofly
