NON-NETTABLE WAREHOUSE LOCATIONS

I am using AX 2012 r2 and I would like to turn a current stocking location into a non-nettable location. We have a customer that we stock per a min/max agreement into a location identified as "CW" the inventory in that location shows in stock and is considered in our demand planning. This location is physically at our customers facility, and is our property until they pull the parts for assembly.

I need this location to be a non-nettable location so we can drive demand requirements without recognizing this inventory. 

Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the feedback Guy,

    Since we ship from this location it may create more transactional work for Sales to pick and Invoice, I am new to AX only two months in and still have a lot to learn about it functionality.

    I would like to find an option that would allow us to transfer goods to a Finished Goods location and MRP not recognize the inventory.

    Hi,

    You could do it if the items were in a separate warehouse. Since they're not, have you thought about using Inventory Blocking?

    You can define if the blocked inventory is available to Master Planning or not.
